Many forms of lichen grow on the rock ledges jutting out into Lake Superior. The moist damp foggy air seems to support many different varieties, colors and textures. I used a small table top type tripod and a macro lens to try and capture as much variety and detail as possible. If you go back to my May 20th posting of Foggy Coastline you will get an overview of the rocks at the bottom of the photo and the fog.
