Ah those peony buds with their oh so sweet nectar. Truly an ant feast. Is this a symbiotic relationship or just breakfast, lunch and dinner for the ants. I like to think that the ants are not only gorging themselves but also helping the bud open into a lovely full soft beautiful bloom. Some say yes some say no! Fate, accidental, purpose or just so!
