Taking Off

As I was shooting a colony of American White
Pelicans on the St Louis River this one decided
to take off and get airborne. They are a very large bird from 1.2 -1.8 M (3.9- 5.9 feet) with a wing span of 7.8 - 9.5 feet. They are on their spring migration back to Minnesota See http://365project.org/tosee/2nd-album/2016-05-06
