A former gentlemen's club founded in 1927. Now a lodge and restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea in the summer. The 30 x 80 foot dinning room was painted with Cree Indian
designs by the French artist Antoine Goufee. The 20 foot high ceiling was designed to resemble the shape of a canoe. It is located on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Next time I venture north hope to have tea and my fisheye lens.
Thank you for posting this wonderful and unique place. I had to look it up and what an extraordinary history! Great capture of the vibrant colors and wonderful architecture.
