The title comes from Pam's love for the tamarack,
when she see's them she often says " tamarack goodness." A friend and I took a walk in the
"Quaking Bog" which is really a tamarack bog.
Tamarack is an Algonquin name meaning
"wood used for snowshoes." The needle like leaves turn yellow in the autumn before they
fall. Member of the larch family and is a
"deciduous conifer."
