Prairie Architecture

The small towns scattered across the once long grass prairie, now cropland, are dominated and united by one architectural feature, the grain elevator. The styles may vary but their function is the same, store the grain from one of the bread baskets of the world.
My mother and I took a trip to visit some friends of hers in Saskatchewan. This is what I remember of the little town we went to. I love the clouds at the end of the line.

Interesting shot. I like that railway disappearing into the distance and the rolling clouds behind.
