I finally got out of the house, put my crampon's on and walked out on the frozen lake. Saw these young children in the distance playing in the snow on the frozen lake. Talked to the father and snapped a few photos. Their happiness and joy brought a brightness to the chilly gray day and to my spirit.
They look like little Eskimos (probably an unintended social faux pas here - no insults intended) with their furry hoods. I like how they are smiling and seem to be enjoying themselves.
