The High Falls on the Pigeon River which forms the border between Canada and Minnesota; viewed from Minnesota's Grand Portage State Park. Canada is to the right and Minnesota is to the left. The Grand Portage was a 9 mile portage from Lake Superior to the inland lakes, around falls, and rapids used during the fur trade era.
