With the lighter winds and warmer temperatures today, I was finally able to get outside for a walk without freezing. I found this birds nest in the snow on the floor of our old barn. The winds of the last few days probably knocked it from the rafters.
For me, this is a powerful image. It speaks of the strength of nature, its destructiveness, its chill. But come spring, the birds will build again and the circle of life will continue. Fav'd.
