Mosquitos live here

This shot was quite the adventure. I travelled down a closed road and found this pretty patch of woods where the sun was shin gin through. When I opened the car door, I quickly discovered the area was completely overrun with mosquitoes. My boys would not even get out of the car. I ventured out quickly and got down low to get the shot. In the minute I was out there, the small space on my back where my tshirt lifted while I was crouching was immediately attacked and I retreated to my car with about 30 bites. Needless to say, this was my only stop along the road.

Love your comp, light and focus here, fav. A friend of mine who lives out in the country says the mosquitoes are bad this year. Did you know that the application of water to the bites, as hot as you can stand it, can ease the itching by destroying the enzyme which causes it?
