Beside the Stairs

These pretty little orange flowers sat along the stairs up to the cabin. I have no idea what they are. Interesting though, they closed up at night.

I think this is orange hawkweed, also called devil's paintbrush. I remember the latter name as being one of the first wildflower names I learned after coming to Canada back in the 50s. I really like your pov in this capture.
