Boiler Beach by tracymeurs

Boiler Beach

Drove along Lake Huron today to take in the mountains of ice along the shoreline. This shot is of the Boiler that remains on this section of the beach. It is from the Great Lakes Steamer ship called the Erie Belle. The ship exploded along the eastern shore of Lake Huron in 1883 and the rusting remains of the ship's boiler lie on a beach now called Boiler Beach.
