@gigiflower Because the first carriage is not yet refurbished, in the 70's and 80's when these carriages came into service they decided on that colour scheme. However during the 90's there was a change of direction at the company. And instead of being a purely touristic railway company they turned into a museum. The green carriages are more authentic. @hermann Thank you, the plants on the water are called Lemna which part of the Duckweed family. These plants are very common in ditches, canals and ponds in the Netherlands. They grow very fast and ducks can't simply keep up eating them. ;-)
