@gigiflower yes, it is. Thatched roofs are the traditional roofing for farms and houses in the region. @hermann In Dutch it called stolpboerderij (Haubarg in English) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haubarg Traditionally people and animals lived under the same roof.
