Hollandsche Rading - Vuurse Dreef

A train a day keeps the doctor away!
Like the arches over the line, for the electric wires? :-)

@hermann the arches are actually very unique and old. The electrification of the line was done during the second world war and the arches were only used on this line. And because of metal shortages are made of concrete instead of the traditional iron portals. The characteristic horseshoe shape is necessary because concrete is not strong enough otherwise. The arches are on the cultural heritage list.

@hermann Your welcome :-) Besides the limitation I gave myself to only make photo's of trains for a year, I do like to share a little history and show the country.
