@hermann Thank you very much Sally. @zosimasy I do sometimes ride the tram/train. However my 365 day project has a very specific goal. Which is to cycle to a railway crossing every day and take a daily picture. This is to ensure I will ride my bicycle most of the days (sometimes I'm unable to do that due to work or other appointments). And the railway of the Museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik just happens to be the closest railway to my home so that takes the least of my time :-) The Museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik does not offer passenger excursions as you will find in other countries. I mean with photo stops and fake departures for photographers. But then again the train drives almost daily from march to december and everybody is free to take pictures along the route. The railway is often build very near to public roads.
@zosimasy Your welcome, well the project did have an effect on my cycling as I have cycled 7865 kilometres or 4887 miles until now. Approximately twice as much as I cycled the previous year.
