@fishers Thank you, Ian. This is the special Christmas train. @hermann Thank you, Sally. It was quite windy (it still is) so the steam and smoke was going everywhere. The big white plume at the front came out of the steam whistle. I was just in time to take a picture of it.
Nice train shots. Quickly checked on Google to see where Blokmergouw is. Holland. Visited Holland and stayed in Gouda. Friendly people and what a beautiful country. I do have a few train pics and will try to place one tomorrow. My son is also working in London and often sends train photos. Though not the steam locos you like.
@sdutoit Thank you, Sylvia. Taken a daily photo of a train was last years project. Which the reason why I just now logged in. I have started new project http://365project.org/365bicycletrips/365 with my bicycle or a rented bicycle in every picture. As the main reason for taking a daily train photo was to get out of my house and ride my bicycle. So I thought for this year's project why not make the bicycle on which I do all the daily rides the subject of the project :-) Well the Netherlands may not have vista's, but it's a people country. I still have to explore many parts after 37 years :-)
