A great cacophony of bird alarm calls broke the calm before breakfast ...a wedge-tailed eagle had drifted into the galah nursery (see Waiting for Mum, 12th Feb) and with sheer weight of numbers the galahs drove him out of the area and back from whence he came. Difficult to choose which capture to post. Chose this one -send off over. Eagle drifts off back down the valley as galahs start returning home. (A bit grainy but something I've never seen before and certainly never been lucky enough to capture. I'm learning...always have the camera handy!)
