With battery charged (see yesterday's post) I went out to catch our second frost of the year. The first rays of sunshine made the frost sparkle and shine beautifully. The hens didn't know what to make of the phenomena and the pup went crazy racing round and round the yard at full speed - all shots that gave me pleasure. However I think it is this fallen leaf edged in ice and lying on a bed of frost covered grass that captures my intention best.
No frost up here in the hills yet!
