Jacky Lizards were first recorded in Australia as early as 1790 my research tells me. However this little fellow is more orange than usual. I'm wondering if it is a stage in the breeding cycle or is he a different race of Jacky Lizard.
He's had to wait a couple of days to be posted. I spotted him as I was trying to capture Brolgas and he had to wait while they had their moment of glory over the past two days.
