Third granddaughter was selected to join the Queensland team to compete in the 2011 National Championships - Women's Gymnastics from 11th -13th July in Perth.
Monday night her level 10 team won gold for Queensland. This followed a gold to the level 8 and 9 teams earlier in the day. We all had to hold our breathes until the following morning when the level 7 teams would be competing. The whole Queensland crew was over the moon when this team won as well. All four team gold medals for the state!!!
Congratulations to all competitors, their dedicated parents and wonderful coaches. You all deserve to be excited. I know from our family's experience such success doesn't come easily. It has involved years of dedication from all concerned.
