Each morning Mopsy gives herself an adrenalin rush by playing the game of "I Don't Even Know You Are There" with the calves. She pretends to be distracted by a flea, a distant object , a tasty bone or some such thing and lies until the calves are drawn by curiosity to come over to her. She tests herself to see how long she can lie before her nerves give in and she has to jump up and flee. Then its back to start all over again till the calves tire of her antics. She has long since learnt that protected by a strand of barbed wire she can actually lie until they touch her. It is so comical to watch. I have yet to decide who gets the most joy from the game- the calves, the dog or us as we watch the daily ritual!
