It was not just the size of the flock that caught my attention but also the fact that these galahs were feeding totally unperturbed as three children rode motorbikes round and round over some jumps right beside them.
The birds are a flock that move around the village and have total faith in the safety of travelling as a group. They obviously believe no harm will come their way if they stick together.
June word - faith
30day June Challenge - take a closer look.
Gorgeous collection of galahs! We have a big flock of them here too. They can be found waddling around the park int the morning and evening, looking for snacks in the grass. Unless someone walks right up to them they just ignore everything else going on
Beautiful little birds. They have beaks like parots. Thanks for commenting on my frames. Your's are very nice too. I think you have some very different birds from ours. I enjoy seeing them.
I just started looking at some of the posting for the june word challenge... not looking at the names of the people, but the photographs themselves. I clicked on this picture and was surprised to see many of the photographs I took note of, coming from you! Lovely picture you have here and I'm going to keep an eye on you!!
