Today being Wednesday the challenge is to experiment. As I headed off to a meeting this afternoon, I grabbed a few pretty ordinary snaps of my chooks. Tonight I've experimented with various editing techniques and tools to end up selecting this pair of sidekicks. Can't tell one from the other but they travel everywhere together. Today they found their way through an open garden gate and were having a wonderful time scratching mulch everywhere until I disturbed them with my photography efforts.
I love feathers. No matter how intricate the pattern it is always repeated perfectly to create such an interesting array of adornments for birds.

Keep experimenting - I love the results and I love chooks. What a fine looking pair of hens! Are they layers or just very good looking. Trust hens to find a way into where they shouldn't be.
