Picture Perfect

We experienced the worst flooding on record in January. The cattle in this picture were washed away in the flood and found 12 miles down stream from their original paddock. They were the lucky ones. We initially lost 57 head but since then we have gradually located 38 head (4 of them dead bodies). So we still have nineteen missing and little hope of finding them alive now. But doesn't the place look a picture? All lush and green.
Beautiful scene ...now.

The text tells a very sad story.

Very lush scene, lovely light on the grass and rainbow. Sorry to hear about all the cattle though - I'm glad you found some of them.

It does look beautiful - what a terrible shock and shame to lose so many cattle, nature can be too hard. Lovely view here though

So sorry to hear of the loss of you cattle. The countryside looks so lush now and hides the devastation of a few months back.
