Kangaroos relaxing on the sports ground. Worth viewing large to see the size of the joey the female on the left has in her pouch. That's its tail dangling out. She must soon have to kick it out although this may be a result of the drought. Mother Kangaroos are said to have the ability to pause the development of new embryo until the mature joey is able to fend for itself. I have noticed that this mob has a lot of large joeys still suckling on their mothers- joeys that are much too large to fit in the pouch and simple stand with their mouths in the pouch and suck.
