Is the glass half full or half empty? Ahh, who cares? Let's drink to a great day. I played 2 away games of bowls today and had a wonderful time.
Each club in our district holds a President's Day once a year to pay tribute to their club and the work of their members. Biloela is our neighbouring club and 16 clubs accepted invitations to join President Kerry for her special day. It is a two hour drive each way for me but well worth it. Good food. Good fun. Good games. We began the day with morning tea. Played for two and a half hours. Broke for a fabulous lunch of cold meat and homemade salads. Played another 12 ends then had afternoon tea and when formalities were over headed home- a round trip of just over 300km.
