The turkeys are enjoying the warmth of the morning sun radiating off our new garage wall. A "nothing special" photo but very exciting for me. It is the first time in all my life that I have had a garage in which to house my car AND it has a remote controlled roller door AND I can walk into the house without having to walk on wet grass. Joy is in the simple things of life.
Well, it's a lovely bright yellow garage, and I'm happy that you have this new simple pleasure. As for the photo being "nothing special," I beg to differ. Those beautiful toms make it quite special. With their coloring, they could be the salt and pepper shakers on the Thanksgiving table. Turkey is the traditional meal for our Thanksgiving feasts held every November to celebrate the early settlers making it through the cold winter.
Fantastic photo. The turkeys are a great color and contrast well with the garage oh ond congrats on the new garage. Simple pleasures are indeed special
Thanks for sharing the joys one can find each day - simple but making life easier. I love the way you are sharing the life of your brood of turkeys. Please keep them coming our way.
This is a cool garage. I can understand the excitement of having one if you haven't before. I like the colorful turkeys. You asked if we used the term "tree change." No but we do say "Change of Scenery." Those who can afford it often have second homes in the country or seashore. Some live in homes that resemble barns.
Did you shout Christmas at them, oh it's alright they have 6 months still to enjoy that lovely grass and sunshine. I'm impressed with your remote control garage door, I could do with one on my fridge. Lovely capture.
