Hay making at this time of year is fraught with danger. Once cut the hay needs several days of sunny weather to dry out before it is baled. Of course every thing is growing profusely so we've been torn between the need to cut and the need to wait given the forecast of showery weather. We took a punt and cut. Just got this last of 53 bales into the barn with about 30 minutes to spare. Since then we've had 2 days of passing showers. You can be lucky sometimes.
