The door to the Ubobo Memorial Hall is ajar but it could be thrown wide open because there's no roof. After 60 years the roof needed replacing. A generous grant from QGC allowed the Progress Association to go ahead with the job. So today it was off with the old and on with the new. This afternoon, with her brand spanking new white roof,the old girl is shining.
We could just do with those roofers.....we can't get our man to come & fix ours! Slightly different weather I must say bit the winter is when you need them earnestly! This building will be so beautiful when finished!
