Beetle

No lions or lambs around here (see mar15words tag) but this interesting pink and brown beetle landed on my back and gave me quite a nip when I tried to remove him. Now he's playing dead as I try to photograph him.

Maybe its called a Lion Beetle? Looks almost like a lobster! Good to get a shot!

@maggiemae I did consider that name because his bite was quite a viscous little nip...the lion of the beetle world perhaps!
