Poor mother turkey is having a very worrying time with this set of hatchlings. Her little brood is constantly under threat. Kookaburras and crows are always a danger but as autumn draws to a close a pair of wedge-tailed eagles and five black kites are finding the rising wind currents over the barnyard sheds great fun to ride. So the little mother can't relax and is keeping her family close to the long grass so she can quickly call them to safety.
