These little birds nest in tunnels they dig in the banks of creeks and gullies but banks are not very common on farm lands so they look for man-made holes. The sleeve of Kelvin's work jacket hanging on its hook on the verandah has some appeal at the moment. This little gem has been checking out the ribbed cuff entry to the sleeve and seems to be quite taken by his discovery. Kel may be in for a surprise the next time he reaches for his jacket.
