Today's word is "children" but no children came to call so my own little gems had to fill the role - unruly Miss Mopsy who refused to stand still and behave and dear little Miss Hen who always tries to please. Here she is waiting patiently for me to say good night and put her to bed. She likes to scratch around until sunset and then hops up on the top step and settles down beside Mopsy until I come and carry her to bed in her cage. Why she can't go there herself I don't know. Perhaps she's a little spoilt.
