Today's word is 'Sport" but nowadays the only sport I see is on TV. Photography has replaced sport as my pastime. This is the early morning view down into the Futter Creek catchment taken as I mapped out for myself a new tour to share with our Discovery Centre campers.
I am amazed how dry it looks Margaret.....even though this is winter & you would expect more rain......doesn't look like it's rained for months! Must be incredibly hard feeding cattle!
@happypat yes Pat this is the worst period of the year for us. Lots of feeding to be done but the hardest thing is facing the sorrowful eyes of hungry cows begging for more. Some early spring rain can be a savior but it is not forecast this year. However we always live in hope.
