Sugarbag Bees by ubobohobo

Sugarbag Bees

What amazing flowers, Spider Lilies, hymenocallis liriosme, native to states of southern USA. Mine are in full bloom attracting swarms of Australia’s tiny native bees. The sugarbag bees load themselves up with pollen on the see -saw like anthers while the slender styles rise high above the petals with their tiny little bowl -like stigmas glistening with a miniature globule of sticky goo.
oh yes nice, I love the colour they give my gardens in the winter :)
