40 Staying Cool

A huge carpet python has settled herself into one of the cattle troughs to keep cool during this heat wave. The photo shows the cattle ticks she has on her face. She can slide down into the water and submerge herself completely then pokes her head up from time to time to breathe.

Fantastic Margaret. I didn't know they did this. Do you know if the cattle ticks cause them any problems? You may have to dip/spray it.
