My Mother would turn in her grave. I have developed the habit of leaving the table to sit with my feet up and watch the end of the news on TV while I eat my dessert. Mum firmly believed meals were to be eaten with everyone seated around the table.
Ha ha Margaret we are the same! Harry & I have our main course then we clear up filling the dishwasher & washing pans etc the we have our pudding in our comfy chairs watching the end of the news!
It seems I'm not the only one to eat my dessert and drink my cuppa in front of the news! And Mum was doing it too when she visited even though we were brought up to sit at the table until you finished your meal. Loved this series of your daily life in photos.
Lovely way to relax and spoil yourself after doing as you are told for years but perhaps still feeling a little guilty. Margaret I was following you but seemed to have got lost along the way I have clicked the box and am back to following you again.
