Truck 'em out! by ubobohobo

Truck 'em out!

No choice. The last of this year's calf drop enters the truck. All gone. No relief in sight till spring and the drought is already biting deep. Hard decision have to be made. No looking back.
Such a difficult time for farmers when there is not enough water. Hope you get some early rains.

A beautiful image conveying the sadness and poignancy of a farmer letting go of his stock ! I love the greyness yet a glimmer of light on his back - It must be so difficult ! ------- fav

Drought or flood--it's not easy . . .

That would have been a tough decision to make.

It looks very dry through the bars of the race, even though it’s winter with you there isn’t enough rain? I know exactly how you feel....the weather is so vital for survival....no one can imagine how we rely on rainfall either too little too much or at wrong time!

the drought is beyond imagining - even here everything looks lush and green because we are in a 'green drought'. My spring fed pond is still dry, so we are damp on top but the water tables are desperate.
