@terryliv It is Rio Tinto's second refinery in Gladstone - the Yarwun alumina refinery and additional to the first known as QAL. It produces 3 million tonnes of alumina per year.

@ladymagpie Yes the colours are what persuaded me to take photos of our arrival. The late afternoon sun was bringing everything alive. I couldn't resist a photo or two or three.
