It was Aussie Bird Week and I was focused on birds but I also wanted to capture the fact that our wild storm a couple of days earlier had taken out trees as well as the internet. This squatter pigeon chose to use the fallen trunk for a place to squat while the poor little honey eaters foraged among the fallen branches, seeking out their regular grevillea flowers that are so prolific at this time of year.
