Gone but never forgotten

this morning on my way to a friends funeral I stopped to take this picture of the fog and clouds over in the distance... a reminder of my friend who suddenly passed away recently - it's been a tough couple of weeks getting my head around the fact I wont be seeing her again this side of eternity... x

The past few years seems to have been a series of losses and it's not easy but photography has become my therapy and gets me out walking and appreciating life. These clouds did have a heavenly feel to them hard to capture it how I saw it but it will be a reminder of the view and comfort that my friend is in eternity and at peace

Beautiful image. So sorry about the loss of your dear friend. The older we get, the more often it occurs and I do not like loss. I also cannot take the news...nothing good. I surround myself with as much beauty and goodness as possible to keep my spirits up. Take good care and time to heal.

@henrir @gardenfolk it is becoming more obvious as I age... Just this week another friend has undergone surgery for exactly the same reason... I hope she gets through this... I agree surrounded by beautiful nature and family is helping me to move forward..
