I love this shot. Zoe can play for hours, and I can shoot for hours - so it's a good match. I just read the CSC today and thought I'd give it a try. I like how it turned out. Setting it AF-C (Nikon) really helped me catch the focus where I wanted it.
So is there an actual setting to make it AF-C? All I could find was a tutorial about holding down the shutter release halfway to focus and then following the image. Is that what you did?
I love how the bubbles stayed in focus--did you like using AF-C? I'm 365 friends with Taffy and Junko and I've been recommended to follow you! :) I have a daughter who takes Japanese too, so I know Junko has mentioned you a few times! :) Great shot!
@taffy yes, there is. Press "i" for info twice and toggle down to "focus mode." It's likely at AF-A and you can choose AF-C, AF-S or MF. I'm still figuring out its power. Thanks for the nod for the challenge (despite grumpy man who thought there was no movement in 4 out of 5 photos). Try catching bubbles in the wind. They really don't sit still :)
