I like the lowly ajuga. It has beautiful candlestick-like purple flowers over a consistent, dark-leaved, low growing base. I "painted" it a bit to give it some depth and played with color/b&w.
I'm going to recycle a challenge since my challenge partner last week is a teacher, and this seems to be the perfect closure for an end-of-the-school-year challenge. What inspires you to be a teacher? How can you capture an image that portrays your feelings for what drives you to work hard to do your job well? And maybe this even leads into the question, "What compels you to give up two weeks of your summer vacation to take 20 teenagers to Japan so you can continue to teach during your time off?"
@jyokota Yes, I'm standing over the flowers - ajuga is groundcover, and the flower spikes come about 6 inches off the ground.

No worries there - but for your official challenge for the week, and in line with your challenge to me, I'd like you to capture an image (or images) that portray(s) the time you've spent in Germany these past couple of months. Specifically, I'd like you for focus on the emotional side. If you've got the technology - a diptych or triptych might work too!
