So we made it up the Tokyo Sky Tree! We had to go through an incredibly bureaucratic series of steps to secure tickets for our group, which included us choosing an entry time on one specific date last April, hoping that it being rainy season in June, we'd be able to see anything from up that high. Despite it being closed all day due to high winds, they opened it just before our entry time and we were treated to what you see here. I can't tell you how hard it was to choose a favorite, but only one photograph from above it is! This shows the Sumida-gawa as it cuts through the mass of buildings.
