oh the power! by vankrey

oh the power!

Now it was my chance to capture a Hadouken shot. Please view Junko's version of just our students at http://365project.org/jyokota/challenges-and/2013-06-22

This time we had the Japanese teacher who coordinated the school visit at the center of not only my students, but also all their hosts. There should be 38 up in the air for this one. It was a lot of fun.
Fun, fun, fun! It really was quite a feat to get so many up at once but you captured it! I especially like how you processed it to emphasize the teacher.

Well done--super fab--awesome--LOVE IT! Sensei has lots of power. I hope the kids had a great time doing this and I really appreciate you doing it with them. Were the Japanese students already familiar with the trend I wonder? May I ask what you did to process it? I can see the lines above and some cool clouds, but it looks like some film has been used for effect? Love the POWER coming from Sensei!

@darylo the lines above are power lines that you find all over, the processing was an iPad app called photoforge (no longer sold) using the "high pass" effect. I'm glad you liked it and most of the kids knew what it was about :)

@darylo Daryl..is this what you challenged Junko to do? I just saw that version of hers and I think it said you put her up to that? What is this "Trend" called" Have you heard of "Vadar-ing" and this a huge group form of that?
