I had transplanted some of my prettier colored day lilies into the front patio where there is more sun and was greeting with this bloom and a little cricket. It seemed acutely aware I was in its face as it gave me a very humanistic "do you mind?" stare. I would really like a macro lens for moments like these!
The flower is GORGEOUS btw! I think that might be a katydid...if it had striped antennae that are really really long... Do you have an iphone? Because that macro lens for it is amazing! And they are reasonably priced! Great shot!
@espyetta I think you're right! It has *that* face, now that you mention it. Must be a baby...I have an iPod, but from my research the macros for the iPhones don't fit the iPods...my friend has one and it is amazing!
