An apology for the onslaught of photos - between school starting, catching a cold, having our phone and internet go out, twisting my knee, and having our power go out (a storm separate from the earlier outage), I got a bit behind...
I had to move my rosebush and Russian sages in advance of major road work and a new water line being installed on our street. I was so nervous that moving it in the height of an August heat wave would stress this rose plant to at best, no longer bloom or at worst, die. It's doing fine.
The rose is beautiful and seems to have thrived, despite the move. Lovely color in this photo.
