Spring has come about two weeks late this year. The earliest of the early are just now in bloom. So to kick off the beginning of flower season, here's a tribute to that brave early bloomer, the snowdrop. I got these clumps from a neighbor two years ago, and am excited for them to start their inevitable spreading. But for now, the clumps in the backdrop will have to suffice for a backdrop amongst the yet to be cleaned-up leaf mulch.
