prairie flare

I had to get a new wide angle lens because of the spectacular views on this prairie vacation. I had Amazon send a Tokina that I've had my eyes on for a while now and it came today! I'm very pleased with how my photography has "opened up" with the new lens. It also takes pretty sun flares (I like the streaky effect you get with a good flare). This tree has eluded my so far - I couldn't get it into my shot and still have it look at all like the vistas I see in person. This comes closer. I was basically doing a stomach crunch to get this shot.
